I have been a Club Technician at Patterns, a true establishment in Brighton's nightlife scene, since August 2021. I quickly discovered that I had a passion for lighting. I taught myself MagicQ so I could start implementing my own ideas for the rig.

In time, we completely overhauled the lighting rig - delivering a versatile and effective rig for both club and live applications. This included upgrading almost every fixture and installing a "Laser Cage" around the DJ Booth. We moved to an Avolites Quartz, so I became an Authorised Avolites Specialist by taking the course offered at their HQ. I'm as equally comfortable busking for a club night as I am meticulously programming a timecoded show.

I have done lighting design for several music videos and promos shot at the club. Having previous experience working in film editing, I'm able to apply my knowledge of this field to my lighting work, collaborating with directors to attend to their requirements.
